Mission & Approach

Our Mission

The Mission of Turning Corners Youth Mentorship Association is to create a group of strong and remarkable individuals who come together and share their time and experiences with underserved youth. Turning Corners intends to provide teens with skills and tools that will assist in changing their lives and teaching lifelong skills. Our goal is to empower the community by means of leadership, technology, education and community. We offer training skills that lead to lifelong career opportunities.

Our Vision

The Vision of Turning Corners Youth Mentoring Association is to create an environment where youth feel empowered, safe and comfortable. We want to be a places that promotes positivity and fun all while teaching; values, morals, self respect, self discipline and stewardship. Our “Everyone’s a Mentor” philosophy is meant to educate and serve youth with the hopes of them paying it forward and someday becoming mentors as well. 

Clubs & Activities

Nationwide states and schools are engaging diverse partnerships with afterschool programs, libraries, museums, universities, and businesses to ensure that students have access to high-quality STEM education.

 

Turning Corners' fully utilizes student's hours outside of school, and taking an all hands on deck approach to maximize collective impact. We assists students with preparing for the future, our programs spark learning and ignite interest by letting youth experiment with ideas and concepts in real-world situations.

After School

Our after-school program provides hands-on technology and we seek to create a safe, engaging, and fun learning environment for all students. To achieve this goal we offer programs that give students classroom access as well as online course.
